What is it?
Commercialisation Australia (CA) is a competitive, merit based funding program that offers assistance to individuals, private enterprises, universities and other public sector research organisations. There are four (4) categories within the CA program, these are:
Skills and Knowledge
This category requires applicants to match funding on an 80:20 basis, (where the applicant funds 20%) for funding up to $50,000 to purchase specialist advice and services, which includes, but is not limited to:

Offering maching funding on a 50:50 basis for funding of up to $200,000 over two years (maximum $100,000 per annum) towards emloyment of experienced executives on a salary or contract basis:
Proof of Concept
Offering matching funding on a 50:50 basis for funding between $50,000 and $250,000 over a 12 month period, on activities such as:

Early Stage Commercilaisation
Offering matching funding on a 50:50 basis of between $250,000 and $2million over two years for activities associated with the systematic work necessary for installing and establishing processes, systems and services that enable a new product, process or service to be effectively brought to market. The types of eligible expenditure are:

Eligible applications are initially assessed against specific merit criteria and then compete for available program funds based on the comparative merit of their application as assessed against the merit criteria.

M Squared regulalry assists clients to identify suitable projects and work with clients to prepare quality applications that target the merit criteria for lodgment with AusIndustry. M Squared will also work directly with the CA case manager as required, ensuring each applciation has the maximum change of success.
Additionally, on successfully obtaining CA funding M Squared can assist with the ongoing reporting and budgetary requirements of the scheme.
